The curtain will come down on Meitheal ‘10 with the Meitheal Showcase concert in the Millennium Theatre at Limerick’s L.I.T. The event features several stars of the trad music world. Brian Finnegan of Flook will be a marvellous treat and will share the stage with Cora Smyth (Riverdance), Karen Tweed and Luke Daniels from the U.K, Kieran Munnelly, Michelle Mulcahy, and many more. The finale of the event will feature Meitheal Trad Orchestra whose membership is drawn from the four corners of Ireland and beyond. They will perform a new trad suite by Tom Doorley of Danú. Some of the awards won during the week will be announced on the night and will be presented by a representative of Irish Music Magazine.
