Artists;

Lúnasa: Described as “the hottest Irish acoustic group on the planet”, the band comprise of Seán Smyth (fiddle, whistles), Kevin Crawford (flute,whistles), Trevor Hutchinson (double bass), Cillian Vallely (uillean pipes, whistles) & Ed Boyd (guitar). Since their formation in 1996, Lúnasa have released ten widely acclaimed albums - their latest being a collaboration with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, recorded in Dublin’s National Concert Hall, last year. The hard working group tours for a majority of each year and has performed in the Americas, Europe, Asia, New Zealand and Australia.

The Lost Brothers: Irish musical duo, Mark McCausland from Omagh and Oisin Leech from Navan, are renowned for their tight, two part harmonies and country tinged folk songs. The Irish Times say “they sound like the ghosts of The Everly Brothers whispering a secret to Hank Williams.” Their third and latest album “The Passing Of  The Night”, was recorded in Nashville, produced by Brendan Benson of The Raconteurs and released on Benson’s Readymade Records. The duo has just completed a UK tour in support of Billy Bragg and last September they were guests of Glen Hansard, on a coast to coast trip across the USA and Canada.

The Kilfenora Céilí Band: Clare’s finest, is the oldest Céilí band in Ireland. It was founded in November 1910 in the North Clare village. The current line-up’s latest album is entitled “Chapter 8”. This incarnation of the band has been entertaining audiences and dancers for  twenty years and have repeatedly sold out the National Concert Hall in Dublin as well as playing at international music festivals like Glastonbury in the UK and Milwaukee in the USA.

Siomha Brock: “A star in the making”, according to HotPress Magazine, The Irish Examiner had this to say about her, “Siomha’s well of influences and inspiration span the genres to include rock, country, folk and jazz. She’s a new creative talent with a self-assured cohesion that belies her tender years.” This Ennis singer-songwriter looks like she’s destined to be Co. Clare’s latest musical luminary.

Pauline Scanlon, Noriana Kennedy, Meabh O’Hare & Jefferson Hamer: This is a new collaboration from four of Ireland’s and America’s finest singers and musicians. They perform a mixture of Americana, Irish traditional, along with contemporary songs and tunes. Pauline is a singer from Dingle in Kerry, who has performed with Sinead O’Connor, Sharon Shannon, Damien Dempsey and is currently part of the successful duet, Lumiere. Noriana Kennedy is a singer from Dublin who performs regularly around the Galway scene. Jefferson Hamer from New York is an amazing singer and multi-instrumentalist and Belfast fiddler Meabh O’Hare learned most of her music from legendary fiddle maestro Sean McGuire. In 2000, she was chosen as young musician of the year by TG4 (Irish language TV station).
