www.zoeconway.com

Following the success of their last sell-out Irish tour,
Zoë Conway and John McIntyre are now embarking on a nationwide autumn tour.

Zoë is a prodigious talent, equally at home in both traditional Irish and classical styles. Her list of achievements belies her youthful age as Zoë has performed across the globe, from Tel Aviv to Toyko and from Bangkok to Los Angeles. She has performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world including The National Concert Hall, Dublin; The Kremlin, Russia; and Carnegie Hall, New York, and she has also performed at festivals such as Glastonbury, Tonder and Womad.

She is a holder of the prestigious All-Ireland Senior Fiddle Champion Title, and in 2006 was voted “Best Traditional Female of the Year”. Zoë has played as guest soloist with renowned orchestras including The Irish Chamber Orchestra, The Ulster Orchestra, The RTE Concert Orchestra, Il Gardino Armonico of Italy, and The Symphony Orchestra of Galicia in Spain.

Zoë has also performed with international acts, Riverdance, Damien Rice, Rodrigo y Gabriella, Nick Cave, Lou Reed, Jarvis Cocker and Beth Orton among others. To date, she has released two solo albums, Zoë Conway, produced by Bill Whelan, and The Horse’s Tail, both critically acclaimed, and she recently released a live DVD available exclusively from her website entitled Zoë Conway Live.

Zoë has been touring with guitarist, John McIntyre for the past year and the duo has received a tremendous response from audiences across Europe. John is a member of the well known rock band, The Revs. He has toured worldwide with the band and has performed at festivals including Oxygen, Slane, Reading and Rockpalast. As a result of playing with The Revs, John was voted “Best Musician of the Year” in a reader’s poll in Hotpress Magazine.

Alongside his ‘rock n roll’ playing, John has a strong background in Irish Traditional music and has also studied classical guitar. As a result, he is increasingly in demand for guitar masterclasses and workshops. John is currently recording a solo album, due for European release next year.

With this broad musical spectrum, John provides the perfect accompaniment for Zoë, and their concerts now include music from all genres; jazz, classical, traditional, bluegrass and the list goes on. For their Autumn tour, they will perform in Galway, Limerick, Donegal, Letterkenny, Drogheda, Dundalk, Bray, Cork, Waterford and Dublin.
