The expanded and refurbished ‘Ceoláras Coleman’ in Gurteen, Co. Sligo.  is a centre of excellence for showcasing our traditional music, song and dance.  This year’s programme includes: Ceiliúradh an Earraigh (May 2-5),  Fleadh Cheoil Chontae Shligigh (May 30-June 1), ‘Seisiún’ (July & August – Wed, Thurs & Sat), Coleman Traditional Festival (August 29-31) as well as various other concerts and events.

In the Music/Gift shop, we stock a comprehensive range of traditional CDs, musical instruments, music books as well as local crafts and giftware. These items are also available in our online shop at www.colemanirishmusic.com
On the educational side, music classes are held in all instruments for adults and young people. A one-day music seminar is available for Secondary School students based on the traditional side of the Leaving Cert music examination.
As part of the recent extension, a coffee shop has been opened where one can enjoy various coffees and light refreshments. Conference facilities are also available catering for up to 100 participants.

The Centre is open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm.
