Ceoláras Coleman, Gurteen, Co. Sligo has a sparkling programme of Irish traditional music, concerts and events arranged for the coming months. The one hundred and twenty seat theatre in the centre lends itself to the full enjoyment of concerts with sound and atmosphere second to none.

All concerts have 10/15 minute interval during which a complimentary cup of tea or coffee is served. From May 27th to June 1st, Ceoláras Coleman is the venue for Fleadh Cheoil Co. Shligigh. 2008 offering a huge variety of music and song , through many competitions, solo, group and ceili bands, also concerts – one on Saturday 31st feature the highly acclaimed, ‘Líadan’. On Saturday, June 7th, members of the Collis family from Collooney come together for a music night celebrating the great musicians of that family, past and present and the rich musical legacy they have nurtured and preserved.

For July and August, the Comhaltas Summer Seisiún takes place on Wed. Thursday and Saturday nights. A real feast of music, song, dance and craic featuring the best of traditional musicians, singers and dancers from the Coleman Country. Has to be seen and heard to be fully appreciated and is the ideal location for entertainers, visitors or friends.

The annual Coleman Traditional Festival at the end of August is as usual, packed with the finest of entertainment and the weekend is a long-standing event following the All Ireland Fleadh Cheoil.
