A 30th Anniversary edition of Kevin Burke’s If the Cap Fits is a newly re-mastered and re-packaged CD with a foreword by Earle Hitchner of The Wall Street Journal and Irish Echo at the website www.kevinburke.com. Kevin Burke released this solo debut in 1978 while he was still a member of the Bothy Band. Thus, when the Bothies split up for good the following year, the shock of the blow was lessened by the knowledge that former members of the band would still make music like this. Compass Records, who acquired the rights from Mulligan records, have re-mastered the CD and have also included some additional notes and photographs.
