Renowned Singer Song Writer Don Stiffe joins forces with internationally acclaimed accordion player Sharon Shannon to bring an Irish Christmas song to lift your heart ‘Home on time for Christmas’, written by Don, and sung in his own distinctive style is a magical, foot-stomping, sing-along Christmas ballad. Don is delighted to welcome a number of world class Irish musicians on board : Sharon Shannon, Kevin Crawford, of Lúnasa on whistle, Jimmy Higgins from the Stunning on percussion, Declan Corey on mandolin and Frankie Colohan on guitar.

This is a very special Christmas song written for not only those who will make it home for Christmas this year but also those who won’t. Proceeds from the sale of the single will go to Croí, The West of Ireland Cardiology Foundation, a cause very close to the heart of both Don and Sharon.

‘Home on time for Christmas’ contains two bonus tracks. Missing Galway, written by Don when he lived in Boston in the early ‘90’s and practically a County Anthem by now, the record also features Sharon Shannon’s Gaffo’s Ball from the Galway Girl album.
