“High and Dry”

taken from their new CD/DVD “Live in Dublin”

Following on from their stunning performance on the “Late Late Show” on Friday night last, Rig the Jig are delighted to announce the launch of their brand new radio single, a hauntingly infectious interpretation of Radiohead’s “High and Dry”.

Recorded during a live performance at Whelans in Dublin it is one of 21 tracks featured on their latest CD/DVD “Live in Dublin” which goes on release this Friday April 23rd. Featuring a wonderful mix of traditional and folk together with their own unique take on more contemporary classics, “Live in Dublin” offers a brilliantly eclectic mix that will undoubtedly please long-standing and first-time fans alike.

Hailing from Roscommon, Longford & Kildare, Rig the Jig are eight musicians who met through mutual friends and their love of music. One of the leading lights in Irish traditional and contemporary folk music, Rig the Jig has proven itself as a byword for wonderfully organic, talented and energetic performances of music and song, truly a melting pot, bubbling over with eight unique expressions of talent.
