THE 4th ANNUAL TULLA TRADITIONAL FESTIVAL

The 4th Annual Tulla Traditional Music Fesitval will take place from
September 10th – 12th, 2010. Special guest is Seamus Tansey, who is
one of the most colourful musicians in the traditional Irish music
scene today, a native of Sligo he is a wonderful flute player who has
influenced a whole generation of musicians. Seamus can be enjoyed in
concert at the Festival Concert in the Courthouse on Saturday 11th at
8.30pm, seating is limited in this venue, so early booking is
strongly recommended. Seamus will also tutor at the Flute workshop.
This is a wonderful opportunity for young flute players to avail of a
music workshop with such a master of the art.

The main attraction on Sunday, September 12th is the Music Recital in
Tulla Courthouse at 12.30pm which features Catherine McEvoy, Caoimhín
O’Raghallaigh and Micheál O’Raghallaigh. This is a fantastic
opportunity to enjoy these three exceptional musicians in the
beautiful acoustic setting of Tulla.

Set dancers will be well-catered for with a céilí on each night,
music by The Tulla Céilí Band, Larry McEvoy, Jim Corry, Mark
Donnellan and Friends. The singing session will once again be hosted
by the very popular and wonderful combination of Robbie McMahon and
Nora Butler. All singers are very welcome to join this session in
Teach Ól on Sunday after Mass. Sessions will take place in all of the
pubs around the town from Friday evening right throughout the weekend.
