MUSIC NETWORK’S PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES & FUNDING APPLICATION DEADLINES

Music Network is calling for applications for a range of supports being offered to support the career development of musicians. Application deadlines are approaching for the following professional development training courses and funding schemes.

The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Programme 2010/11 is available to professional musicians and composers working, or with an interest in working, in community or outreach settings such as schools, youth groups, healthcare and early years music.

The programme is delivered in a series of two residential course weekends: November 5th – 7th, 2010 at the Marino Conference Centre, Marino, Dublin 3 and February 25th – 27th, 2011 at the Waterford Healing Arts Trust, Waterford Regional Hospital.

Elaine Agnew is the Artistic Advisor and Lead Facilitator to the Programme and she will be joined by a number of leading specialists to deliver the course. Course participants must secure a bursary from their Local Authority Arts Office or other suitable supporting body. The closing date for applications is Friday October 8th.
