The Irish Traditional Music Archive will be open for research on Saturday November 20th. Their most recent publication is The Francis O’Neill Cylinders which was reviewed recently in IMM. This Double CD from the Ward Irish Music Archives in Milwaukee features 32 tracks remastered from original wax cylinders of c.1904. The CD’s are available for purchase from the Ward Irish Music Archive website within the US. They can also be purchased from ITMA in Ireland.

The new 13th series of the archival traditional music series Come West along the Road, researched and presented by ITMA Director, Nicholas Carolan, is currently being broadcast on RTÉ 1 television at 7.30 pm each Friday. There will be thirteen programmes in the series and each one can be viewed world-wide on the RTÉ Player for some weeks after transmission.

The ITMA is continuing with its existing bi-monthly programme of publishing new tranches of Digitised Materials which will be available on its website www.itma.ie on 1st December, 2010.
