Feakle in East Clare hosts an annual music festival that attracts music lovers from all corners of the globe. Now in its 24th year the festival is known for its quality music, friendliness and welcome to fans of the music.

Besides its uplifting concerts, especially the annual homecoming performance by Martin Hayes & Dennis Cahill, there is always a vibrant programme of dance, poetry, music and singing sessions as well as walks and folklore talks and the annual Grande Finale Ceili with the Tulla Ceili Band. There are also Workshops in most traditional instruments by top class tutors at very affordable rates.
Over the years the Festival has expanded its programme to include poetry readings, local history talks and special sessions for those taking the workshops. Also very popular in recent years is the Festival Walk around the beautiful shores of Lough Graney.
The voluntary committee are still in the planning process and details of this year’s schedule will be posted on the Festival web site as soon as it is finalised. Advance booking will be available from early July for the concerts. There is no pre booking for the workshops.
