Belfast song writer Padraig Lalor’s new album Ismay’s Dream evocatively uncovers the Irish dimensions of the Titanic. Weaving the life stories of Irish victims and survivors into a moving account of the most famous voyage in history.

Padraig will be available in Ireland for interviews and live appearances between November 20th to 24th 2011.

Ismay’s Dream, explores the many Irish dimensions of the Titanic story, from the Harland and Wolff Shipyards to the emigrants boarding in Cobh, to the final disgrace and exile of Titanic’s owner J Bruce Ismay in Connemara.

The album is released in Ireland today October 24th on Alan Levermore’s Proper Records label. Padraig and his group will take the audiovisual show Ismay’s Dream on the road in 2012.
