Eleanor McEvoy has recently released her ninth studio album, Alone, which features 12 stripped-down solo tracks.

It is regarded as one of her most exquisite albums to date, showing off McEvoy’s style and panache as both a performer, songwriter and composer.

Joining Sir Terry Wogan in conversation this month, McEvoy spoke about her career to date, her latest album ‘Alone’ and also performed 2 songs ‘You’ll hear better songs than this’ and by request, she covered the well known Cyndi Lauper song ‘True Colours’.

In reaction to the great feedback from listeners to the show, Eleanor writes: “I really enjoyed doing the Weekend Wogan Show – it was a joy from start to finish. I was bowled over by the lovely warm reception from Terry himself and I am really excited from the reaction to the show, the tweets and messages are still flowing in”.
