Several of last year’s award winners have already played at the events for which they were selected.    Jason McGuinness was awarded a place on the Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann tour of Ireland.  Meanwhile, Clara Mannion Danny Collins, Rebecca McCarthy Kent and Gearoid Curtin are preparing for their festival gigs in the Spring.  They have been chosen to appear at Corofin Trad Fest, Nyah Fest, and Sligo Feis Ceoil all in Feb/March.
