The Irish Fair of Minnesota

The 2012 Irish Fair of Minnesota will once again be a free event, offering a one of a kind family friendly Irish experience with live music, Irish Dance and an array of food and beverage options.

This year’s Fair will take place Friday, August 10th – Sunday, August 12th in Saint Paul, MN on beautiful Harriet Island on the banks of the Mississippi River.
The unique once a year celebration offers attendees an opportunity celebrate authentic Irish Heritage through a multitude of activities, including: terrific music, dance, exceptional local food, Gaelic sports, the Battle of the Pubs, 5K Run with the Celts, the Fitzgerald Piping Contest, the Best Legs in a Kilt Contest and an outdoor public Mass.

The University of Minnesota conducted a comprehensive study of attendees during the 2011 Irish Fair of Minnesota where 90 percent of attendees expressed their pleasure with their experience and more than 3/5ths were repeat attendees. The study also found that more than 70% of attendees would be willing to pay an admission. However the Irish Fair of Minnesota is once again committed to making the 2012 Irish Fair of Minnesota free.

With nearly 100,000 annual attendees the Irish Fair of Minnesota is the Upper Midwest’s largest FREE celebration of Irish Heritage.

Hours: Irish Fair of Minnesota will run from August 10th – 12th, Friday from 3pm – 11pm, Saturday from 9am – 11pm and Sunday from 9am – 7pm.
