Return to Camden Town Festival 2012

The 14th Return to Camden Town Festival will take place over two long weekends: October 26th – 28th, 2012 (Music) and November 2nd – 4th (Dance), 2012 at the London Irish Centre, 50–52 Camden Square, London NW1 9XB and some satellite session venues.

Six days jam packed with the finest traditional Irish music, song and dance at concerts, céilís, workshops, sessions and more. This year’s line–up so far features TG4 Gradam Ceoil Musician of the Year Award winner, Brian Rooney and Lifetime Achievement Award winner, Danny Meehan (with his legendary band, Le Chéile), as well as Kerry and Cork’s finest; Séamus Begley and Jim Murray, Donegal’s legendary fiddler and composer, Tommy Peoples, the internationally renowned home team, The London Lasses and Pete Quinn, the brilliant dancer and tutor, Mairéad Casey plus many more tba.

After RtCT’s hugely successfully collaboration with John Patrick Griffin and City University’s Creative Industries Department for the St Patrick’s Day Festival at the Roundhouse earlier this year, they look forward to the upcoming preview events: Fleadh Mór at Camden Lock Market on August Bank Holiday Monday and Set Dancing Céilí in September.
