Tickets for Bell X1 are on sale now!

Bell X1 are the latest addition to the stellar line up at this year’s Sligo Live Festival which spans 6 days over the Bank Holiday Weekend 24th – 29th October 2012. They join legends Van Morrison and Joan Armatrading, as well as Wallis Bird, Pokey LaFarge and The SouthCity Three and many more at this year’s SLIGO LIVE.

As part of a Hawks Well Theatre and Sligo Live co-production, Bell X1 will perform at the Hawks Well on Sunday, 28th October 2012. Tickets (€28/ €25 for students) from www.sligolive.ie, The Hawk’s Well, Sligo (071 916 1518).
Bell X1 are renowned for their wide range of styles, powerful live performances, intelligent and witty lyrics and a dedication to touring. The band is returning to Sligo Live for the first time since the excitement of their sold out appearance at the very first Sligo Live in 2005. This is a special, not to be missed acoustic show. In July 2012 Field Recordings was released which features 21 songs and photography from the road, from the band’s acoustic tour of North America & Europe in late 2010. We are delighted to welcome this exciting band back to Sligo for what promises to be a great gig.

Field Recordings is available as a mostly acoustic double CD. It contains songs from all 5 studio albums – Neither Am I / Music In Mouth / Flock / Blue Lights On The Runway / Bloodless Coup and was recorded on their sold out 2010 Global acoustic tour. Bell X1 are Dave Geraghty, Paul Noonan and Dominic Phillips.

Now Ireland’s premiere folk, roots and Indie festival, Sligo Live brings together established Irish and international acts with some of the best emerging talent on the scene. A limited number of weekend tickets at €112 will enable music lovers to enjoy all of Sligo Live including Bell X1 or Van Morrison and Joan Armatrading. More acts will be announced in the coming weeks so keep an eye on www.sligolive.ie
