Senior Scór All–Ireland Final

Over 1,500 people attended the 43rd, Senior Scór All–Ireland Final in The Venue in Derry recently. Four traditional music groups representing the four Provinces took part in the competition. Cill na Mallach from Cork, Cumann Ruairí Mhic Asmáint, Port Chluain Eoin from Antrim, Naomh Fearnáin from Sligo and Dóchas Éireann from Dublin.

Dóchas Éireann from St. Patrick’s College, Drumcondra, Dublin won this year’s All–Ireland Senoir Scór Title. The members of the group are Damien Mac Aonghusa, (Accordion), Sligo, Aoife Ní Argáin, (Harp), Dublin, Pauric Bannon, (Concert Flute), Cavan, Aidan Connolly, (Fiddle), Dublin and George McAdam, (Banjo), Monaghan.

The group were featured on a special Céilí House programme on RTÉ Radio 1 recorded at St. Patrick’s College recently.
