An exciting weekend ahead in Cavan Town with the Irish Daily Mail International Rules 1st Test taking place in Kingspan Breffni Park on Saturday evening October 19th. To celebrate, Cavan town presents some great entertainment from Thursday to Sunday including great traditional music song and dance.

The 2013 Comhaltas Tour of Ireland, at the Town Hall on Friday 18 at 8pm.

Ceilí House Recording at the Farnham Hotel, Main Street, Cavan on Sunday 20 from 12:30-2pm.

There is also a busking competition on the streets and performances by Eleanor Shanley and friends on the Gig Rig on Friday night.
