We are delighted to announce that Pietro Mario accordions will be showcasing their piano and button accordions at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Sligo. Renowned for their superb build quality and crafts– manship, Pietro Mario have long been established as the leading brand in Irish Traditional Music. Notable players include Dermot Byrne (Altan), Alan Kelly, Jeff Taylor (Elvis Costello), Bobby Gardiner and Martin Tourish.

Quality of workmanship and attention to detail continue to attract more and more musicians to the Pietro Mario brand. The accordions are hand built in Italy by leading craftsmen using the best wood, reeds and components available. The company also specialises in custom built accordions. Established in 2008 by Peter Di Benedetto and Denis Carey, the brand rapidly became the number one choice of accordion on the market. Both Peter and Denis had a long history of accordion sales/manufacturing and as players were acutely aware of musician’s requirements at the highest level. Pietro Mario was launched at the largest European Music Show, Musikmesse, in Frankfurt, Germany in 2008 and was very well received.
Pietro Mario accordions will be on display at the All–Ireland Fleadh, Friday 14th until Sunday 16th of August at Sligo IT presented by Steamboat Music, the largest music store in Munster, who are the exclusive distributor of Pietro Mario.
