Paul Brady, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist crosses musical boundaries again and again, incorporating folk, rock, blues, traditional & classic pop into his song-writing. His songs have been covered by Tina Turner, Carole King, Eric Clapton, Cher, Trisha Yearwood, John Prine, Joe Cocker, Phil Collins, Bonnie Raitt, Art Garfunkel,……..and many more.

SLIGO LIVE is delighted to announce AN EVENING WITH PAUL BRADY live in concert at Hawk’s Well Theatre on Friday, 28th October 2016. Tickets @ €39.00 plus service charge are on sale now. An evening with Paul Brady is a captivating experience. He invites you into his world of songs and music in a way that will surprise in its intimacy, sense of fun and raw power. He continues to garner respect and admiration from today’s younger writers and performers: Glen Hansard, Imelda May and Hozier join the long list of artists including Bob Dylan and Eric Clapton who hold him in high regard. He has co-written with numerous artists from Beth Nielsen Chapman, Belinda Carlisle, Roseanne Cash, Carole King, Lulu, John Prine, Bonnie Raitt, Curtis Stigers to Duke Special………..the list is endless.

THE SAW DOCTORS make a welcome return to SLIGO LIVE FESTIVAL where they will perform live at Knocknarea Arena on Sunday, 30th October 2016. Tickets: Limited Seating €29.50 (plus service charge) / Standing €27.50 (plus service charge) are on sale now. The Saw Doctors were discovered by Mike Scott of The Waterboys, who produced the band’s first single,N17, written by singer Davy Carton and guitarist Leo Moran. Scott offered the band a support slot on The Waterboy’s Irish and British Tour and The Saw Doctors were on their way. They topped the Irish Music Singles Chart with their punked up version of the Sugababes song “About You Now”. “I Useta Lover” still holds the record for the biggest selling Irish single. The band’s first album, “If This Is Rock & Roll, I Want My Old Job Back” was Number One in Ireland for almost a year. A string of much-loved self-written releases followed. Songs like Red Cortina, The Green and Red of Mayo, Joyce Country Céilí Band, Clare Island and To Win Just Once were adopted as the anthems of an Irish generation at home and overseas. Loved by their loyal fans, The Saw Doctors continue with resilience and effervescent energy, with a new album release and a return to touring in late 2016 and next year. The Saw Doctors have built up a reputation as one of the most amazing and invigorating live acts on the circuit.
