KITCHEN PARTY CEILIDH FINDS NEW HOME AT WICR 88.7FM

The Kitchen Party Ceilidh, Indianapolis’ only homegrown Celtic-music radio program, will be moving to WICR the Diamond, 88.7 FM in Indianapolis.  The first broadcast on WICR will be on Sunday, March 5, at 10:00 PM.

The Kitchen Party Ceilidh went on the air on July 19, 2013, and was originally aired on WITT FM 91.9, an Indianapolis community radio station, until June 30, 2016, and has continued as a podcast since then.  The show’s March 5 debut on WICR will be the 189th episode. “I really couldn’t be more thrilled about the move to WICR,” says Dave Bagdade, the Kitchen Party Ceilidh’s host and producer.  “Doing the show as a podcast was rewarding in its own way, but I’m a fan of broadcast radio. WITT’s station master, Jim Walsh, was a great promoter of the show and I’ll always be grateful to him, but I can’t help but be excited about moving to a station with a fifty-plus year history and a much bigger broadcast area.”
